The complete package along Göta Canal-start Tuesday and Sunday.

Summary

Day 1 Töreboda-Sjötorp-Töreboda (40 km)
The starting point is in Töreboda where you easily arrive with the train. From here you'll ride along the canal passing 19 locks until you will reach Sjötorp. In Sjötorp you will eat your lunch at the café situated besides the tourist information. In order to learn how Göta Canal was erected, you will have to take a look in the interesting canal museum. When you feel like, you return to Töreboda where you will spend the night and dinner is awaiting at one of the cosiest restaurants along the entire channel, the boarding-house Prästgården You will stay the night in our fresh, newly renovated rooms.  

Day 2 Töreboda-Karlsborg (49/29 km)
After breakfast this days' tour will take you to Karlsborg. You will bike along beautiful small roads along Lake Viken. If you'll find the biking-stretch too long, you can in advance book your party on the boat from Tåtorp, and you will easily travel across the lake instead to Brosundet. From here you will continue with your bikes to Karlsborg by Lake Vättern. Well there your day will be complete with a fine dinner and rest in a comfortable bed at the hotel Idas Brygga/Idas Strandgård. But first you must of course visit the big fortress in Karlsborg on an exciting guided tour.  

Day 3 Karlsborg-Töreboda (boat journey 5 hrs)
At 10 am the M/S Sandön departures Karlsborg and takes you back to Töreboda. You will enjoy your lunch on board and around 14.30 pm you will arrive in Töreboda. In the evening you will have dinner at Restaurang Prästgården and a good night's sleep.  

Day 4 Töreboda
After breakfast, which you perhaps can enjoy in our nice garden at the boarding house Prästgården, the journey is concluded. You'll have access to your bikes all day long.
