Summary

Day 1                   Visby
Just outside the Visby Ring Wall the hotel "Best Western Solhem hotell" is situated. You'll find the hotel at Solhemsgatan around 400 metres from the harbour, beautifully situated in the Pallisad Park. When you feel like, you can take a look around the town. Perhaps you will find a cosy restaurant where you want to enjoy your evening meal.

Day 2 (27 kms)     Visby-Lärbro
After a good night's sleep and a nice breakfast the adventure starts. Don't forget your lunch-parcel in the reception. Today you will start biking north along the sea on a secluded bicycle road. After 1.5 hours, you will reach the Lummelunda Caves. There are guided tours every hour that are very interesting as you will travel 400 million years in time. On your way to the cave we recommend a visit at Krysmyntagården - a herb-garden with a shop and a café. You keep on towards Lärbro Youth Hostel where you will have dinner and comfortable bed.

Day 3 (80 kms)     Lärbro-Fårö
After breakfast you will take your lunch-parcels with you and bike on small winding roads along the sea and its nature. On your way you'll pass the lake with the turquoise blue water, called "the blue lagoon". You will bike towards the ferry berth where a ferry will take you over to the big island Fårö. At Sudersands Semesterby is dinner awaiting and you'll spend two nights here.

Day 4                   Fårö
Today you get your lunch-parcel sand discover the island. We recommend you to visit any of the rauk areas like Gamlehamn, Digerhuvud and Langhammars. Perhaps you've got time to bike to the very north of the island to see the Fårö light-house.

Day 5 (100 kms) Fårö - Ljugarn
After a day on Fårö it's time to take the ferry back and bike south, towards Ljugarn. Don't forget your lunch-parcels before you leave. You'll pass Slite and Katthammarsvik before you will reach Ljugarn and Pensionat Lövängen, where you will spend the night. 

Day 6  (rest)             Ljugarn                                                                                                                                                                                                             After last day's biking is it nice to take it easy and just relax. You can walk along the sea for 1000 mtrs in sand. There is a small village Vitvärs and rauks at Folhammar. There is also a museum called Strandridaregården and of course a lot of restaurants.

Day 7 (46 kms)     Ljugarn-Visby
This last stretch will take you back to Visby. On yoir way passing a lot of old churches and farm houses, you will bike to the centre of the island and visit the islanders' old meeting place, Roma Kungsgård. Here you will find handicraft and art from Gotland. You can buy handicraft, have a cup of coffee, participate in a guided tour or just stroll around in the historical surroundings. From here you bike straight to Visby for the last evening. Back in Visby you return your bikes and have a nice evening.  

Day 8                   Visby
We hope you've got a tasteful breakfast and a lovely stay in Gotland. While you're waiting for your home transport, you probably have time go shopping in the stores.
