Summary

Day 1     Rönne
The starting point is Rönne at the ferry harbour on Bornholm. The hotel is about 1 km from the ferry terminal. You´ll stay right by the water. Before you check in at Hotel Griffen you get your bike at Bornholms cykeluthyrning. Enjoy the atmosphere in Rönne with its shops and cosy restaurants. You´ll eat a 3-course dinner at the hotel.

Day 2      Rönne - Hasle - Vang - Finnedalen - Alinge - Sandkås 25 km
After breakfast at Hotel Griffen it's time to start the biking adventure. The goal of today is Sandkås nearby Allinge. During the ride you make a lot of stops. Before you arrive in Hasle you can take a look at Safirsön which is a water-filled clay-trench, a beautiful sight for the eye. In Hasle you can visit the church from 1450. If you´re hungry you can have lunch at Hasle rökeri. When you´ve passed Hasle you´ll come to the idyllic fishing village in Helligenpeder and you can stop at Jon's Chapel, a stately cliff. Then you'll arrive to Hammershus - northern Europe’s biggest stronghold ruin from 1200. This night you stay at Pensionat Klintely in Sandkås.

Day 3    Sandkås - Helligdommen - Gudhjem - Ypnasted - Svaneke   30 km
After breakfast at the Pension you get on your bikes again. Now you´ve rounded the northern part of Bornholm and along the Baltic coast you have the most beautiful stretch of the island with a marvellous view.  It’s called the Bornholm Riviera. All over this stretch there are small workshops which make their own handicraft and a lot of artists. On the rest of the way you can visit the Art museum on Bornholm, a cave called Sorte Gryde and Oluf Höst museum. In Svaneke you stay at Simensgaard.

Day 4    Svaneke    Rest
Today you have time to look around in the area. They make chocolate in different shapes or perhaps you want to take a trip to Christiansö. Dinner is served at Hotel Simsensgaard.

Day 5   Svaneke -  Årsdale - Nexö - Dueodde      20 km 
After breakfast you bike on through Fishing villages with old shops filled with smoked fish and fishing-boats in the harbour. West of Svaneke is Paradisbackarna (Paradise hills) much talked of here. Then you can take a look at the Rokkestenen, a big one, 35 tons and about 15 000 years old monument. You´ll pass Årsdalen and Nexö before you'll arrive in Dueodde.

We recommend you to walk up in the lighthouse. Here you stay at Badhotelet and enjoy dinner in one of the restaurants in the village.

Day 6   Dueodde - Peders Kirke - Sose - Arnager - Rönne  30 km
Today is your last biking day and you´ll pass kilometer after kilometer of beaches on your way back to Rönne. Now it´s time to return the bikes. At Hotel Griffen you´ll have a 3-course dinner and spend the night.
