Day 1
Söderköping - Norsholm (bike ride 18 km)
The cycling holiday starts from Söderköping. The bikes are picked up at Korskullens Camping and the journey along the canal can begin. Experience the tranquility of cycling along the Göta Canal. The canal is lined with large deciduous trees and winds through forests and open landscapes. The tour takes you on the car-free old towpaths along the Göta Canal. New for this year is the bicycle boat that takes you across Lake Asplången. The tour costs SEK 100 round trip and runs from 10 am to 16 pm. A fantastic experience to get along the Göta Canal and across the lake. There is plenty of time to look around and enjoy the landscape along "Sweden's blue ribbon." The day ends in Norsholm at Kapten Bille´s where food and accommodation await.Day 2
Norsholm - Söderköping (bike ride 18 km)
After a good breakfast, your cycling holiday continues. A little gem along the route is the lock Brådtom, here you have everything but urgency. Just enjoy here! From Hulta lock you take the bicycle boat back across Lake Asplången. The boat is a fantastic way to travel to be able to experience the proximity to the canal. When you arrive in Söderköping, you check in at Korskullens Stugby. In the evening you enjoy dinner in the legendary Söderköping.Day 3
Söderköping - Mem - Söderköping (bike ride 12 km)
Before you end the cycling holiday, we recommend a trip out to Mem, 12 km round trip. Here, the Göta Canal empties into the Baltic Sea (the final destination on the canal). The completion of the eastern part of the Göta Canal was inaugurated here in 1832. Feel the wings of history and pay a visit to the old Kanalmagasinet, now newly renovated, but in 1832 the inaugural meal was served here. Back in Söderköping, the bikes are returned and you can continue exploring Söderköping on foot.1 overnight stay at Kapten Bille´s incl. bed linen & towel (toilet & shower in corridor)
