Gotland offers 80 km of coastline, velvety sandy beaches but also mighty cliffs, limestone formations and pebble beaches. Visby is a city where old and new meet. Visby's well-preserved ring wall from the 1200th century testifies to Visby's heyday during the Hanseatic League.

Day 1
Visby
Right next to Visby's well-preserved ring wall from the 1200th century is Best Western Solhem Hotell. Here you live centrally with the medieval cobbled streets and the historic buildings just around the corner. At the same time, you feel the tranquility of beautiful natural surroundings and the proximity of the sea. Use the day to stroll around and breathe in Visby's atmosphere. Find a cozy restaurant and enjoy Gotland specialties such as lamb, saffron pancakes, salmon berries and much more.Day 2
Visby - Lummelunda - Visby (bike ride 40 km)
After a good night's sleep and a wonderful breakfast, your cycling holiday begins here on Gotland. The bike ride goes from Visby and you will have the ring wall close to you on your right side and the sea right next to you on your left side. The trip goes on car-free cycle paths along the sea along the "Gotlandsleden" to the Lummelunda caves. We recommend a guided tour, which takes you 400 million years back in time, into the caves. Also take the opportunity to see the big water wheel and look around at the old buildings. On the way back to Visby do not forget to make a stop at Krusmyntagården. Here you can stroll around the spice garden, maybe cool off with something good and shop in the store. Maybe a cooling dip in the sea can attract on the way back to Visby. Stroll around the cobbled streets of Visby and find a cozy place to enjoy dinner.Day 3
Visby - Fårö - Visby (bus 1,5 hours one way, cycling on Fårö)
Today the bus goes from Visby to Fårö-Ljuset and raukarnas ö. The journey takes about 1,5 hours and after a short ferry ride across the Fårö strait you arrive at Fårögården. The farm also houses Restaurant Fårögården, which serves delicious Gotland Mediterranean food. On the bicycle saddle you can now explore this enchanting island with its barren nature, its rauk areas, beaches and the special light and tranquility. Later in the day you return the bikes and take the bus back to Visby. You can enjoy dinner at a restaurant in Visby, here there is a large selection of fantastic places.Day 4
Visby - Södra Hällarna - Högklint - Ygne - Tofta - Visby (bike ride 40 km)
Today the trip goes south along the marked cycle path "Gotlandsleden". The first stop on the journey is Södra Hällarnas nature reserve. This was previously a military firing range, all of the island's habitats are represented here. If you are lucky, lambs graze at the entrance to the reserve. Continue cycling for a while and soon you will arrive at Högklint. Högklint is one of Gotland's highest cliffs (48 masl) from here you have a wonderful view of Visby and the Baltic Sea. Just south of the fishing village Ygne is well worth a visit. Ygne consists of small windswept sheds, rocks, cliffs, fossils and is incredibly beautiful. If you want to swim, you cycle on to Tofta beach, one of Gotland's most famous beaches. In Kneippbyn you will find Villa Villekulla, a water and summer country and adventure golf. After an active day, it is wonderful to come back to Visby and have a good dinner in the historic Hanseatic city.Day 5
Visby - Klintehamn (bus 1 hour one way) - Stora Karlsö (boat trip - Visby
Stora Karlsö is located about 6,5 km southwest of Gotland and you travel here with the ship M / F Stora Karlsö which departs from Klintehamn. You can get to Klintehamn by bus from Visby, about 1 hour. A day trip on Stora Karlsö means about 4,5 hours stay on the island. On the island you first get information from the island's supervisor and then you are guided around the island. After that, free time is given on the island. Stora Karlsö offers unforgettable nature experiences with flowers and birds in a different landscape. Many also go out to Stora Karlsö to meet the peace and quiet that prevails on the island. On Stora Karlsö you can look at Herring Piglets and Tordmular and its peculiar vegetation. Later in the afternoon the boat returns to the mainland and the bus takes you back to Visby. Visby
